Hello everyone! As I mentioned earlier, my name is Josh Lehrer, I am a new hire here at Unique Photo. I recently graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Advertising Photography. I live right here in New Jersey, but my work takes me all over. While at RIT, I helped maintain the wide range of photography equipment and software, along with teaching workshops to students and faculty. Before joining Unique Photo, I was a freelance photography assistant, consultant, technical specialist, and writer working primarily in New York City. I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of amazing individuals and have a lot of fun in the process. I frequently assist on Sports Illustrated shoots at NFL games with renowned photographer David Bergman.
My writing work is featured all over the web, ranging in topic from Adobe Photoshop tricks to shooting techniques. I love to work with all kinds of equipment and software, but my favorite part about what I do is that I get to meet and work with so many great people, and help connect people with the information and equipment they need. I am excited to begin working with Unique Photo and to help out the photography community in New Jersey and all over the country. You can often find me in the Unique Photo Superstore helping out customers choose the right gear, or teaching workshops in the Unique University. Feel free to pull me aside anytime for a coffee and chat about photography, and I will do my best to help answer any questions you might have.
