As I mentioned yesterday, Unique Photo will be at booth 713 at PhotoPlus.  I will be there, but that's not why you want to come!  I wasn't sure exactly who would be joining us as guest speakers, but today I received confirmation that Rick Sammon, Lindsay Adler, Neil Van Niekerk, and some others soon to be announced will be with Unique Photo at the PDN PhotoPlus Expo in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Center from October 28-30, 2010.  All of  these great speakers are working professional photographers with valuable information to share!

There is no prior registration required and their presentations will be free.  The schedule of when each photographer will be speaking is still pending, but just come swing by booth 713 to take a break from the chaos of the PhotoPlus show!  Here are a few short bios of our speakers and links to their pages.

Rick Sammon has published 36 books, including his latest, HDR Photography Secrets, Rick Sammon’s Secrets to Digital Photography, Studio and On-Location Lighting Secrets, Face to Face and Exploring the Light. His book, Flying Flowers won the coveted Golden Light Award, and his book Hide and See Under the Sea won the Ben Franklin Award.

Rick is a member of the Explorers Club and a Canon Explorer of Light. He hosts five shows on kelbytraining.com and writes for PCPhoto. He is also a Lexar Eleite Photographer. Rick also been nominated for the Photoshop Hall of Fame.  Rick, who has photographed in almost 100 countries around the world, gives more than two-dozen photography workshops (including private workshops) and presentations around the world each year.

Neil Van Niekerk (in his own words) -"Weddings and portraits comprise the majority of my work, but I also present workshops and seminars on aspects of digital photography and lighting. I've also had my photography work and writing published."

"I love photography for a variety of reasons. The stimulation and excitement of responding to new situations satisfies both my analytical and creative sides, and I also truly love working with people. I get real pleasure from sharing the happiness with the people that I photograph, and knowing that I'm creating images that will evoke wonderful memories for a lifetime."
