Understanding the basics of exposure and metering are the building blocks to becoming a good photographer. This course will teach you these fundamental basics of photography such as the relationship between f-stops and shutter speeds, as well as understanding the positives and negatives of ISO/ASA sensitivity with your image sensor.

This is a full-day food photography workshop led by Lou Manna, award-winning Olympus Visionary and New York Times photojournalist.

After some instruction on the basics of lighting and digital food photography, students will have the opportunity to use Olympus cameras and lenses along with Westcott and Profoto Lighting kits for a hands-on shooting session.


PHOTOGRAPHING BODY PAINTED MODELS

The workshop starts with a seminar by Mike Z, offering techniques on how to capture artistic compositions and lighting techniques.

The photo shoot follows where attendees will be able to photograph three body-painted models.  *Please note that attendees must be at least 21 years of age as the models will be nude.
